This empty void crushes whats left of me
A feeling of sadness consumed this void
A mask to cover it up
A disguise to deceive
The stereotypes in the world
Destroys the remnants of the forgotten
All the trust in the world
Lost and will never be found
Paint the words on a canvas
Of sincerity and sympathy
The parchment, beaten and reluctant
The pen, jagged and rigid
The person that was there for you
Now found someone new
The drifting started and will not end
Itll keep going until
Youre the dust in the road
All that remains
Are the stains on your face
From the tears of desperation
And reluctance
The journey will end and
Someone will get hurt
And somehow, you know,
That the person who gets hurt
Is
Me

You can sit beside me when the world comes down, if it doesn't matter
then just turn around.
We don't need our bags and we can just leave town.
You can sit beside me when the world comes down.
